A town in the Mexican state of Michoacán got into the Guinness World Records after creating the largest serving of guacamole. Some 300 men and women in the municipality of Peribán made 4,970 kilos of guac in just 3 hours and 30 minutes last Sunday.
The massive batch consisted of 10 tons of avocados that were grown in Peribán orchards and were mixed with onions, tomatoes, pepper, lime and cilantro. The event was live streamed to Guinness World Records officials, who were unable to attend but confirmed the new record Sunday evening.
