Leadership class attends New York Produce Show

The third Eastern Produce Council (EPC) Leadership Class attended a robust program of events and tours at the New York Produce Show and Conference (NYPS) in New York City. On December 13th, the group participated in the Foundational Excellence, Cornell University Future-Leaders-In-Produce Program, to experience educational opportunities for rising produce professionals. On December 14th, the class attended the Global Trade Symposium and the NYPS opening reception. On December 15th, participants spent the day at the trade show networking with and learning from hundreds of exhibitors. The group also attended and was recognized at the Thought Leaders Panel at the breakfast prior to the trade show.

Nominations for the fourth Leadership Class are now open. The nomination form, key dates and other information can be found on the EPC’s website.

The EPC Leadership Program chooses up to 20 up-and-coming produce professionals for each Leadership Class, a professional development experience for those with less than 10 years of experience in the industry.
