This year, Moldova's grape harvest will be better than in 2017, according to forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
The total production is expected to reach 460 thousand tonnes, which is approximately 12% more than last year. The harvest of table grapes will amount to about 130 thousand tonnes, that of wine varieties to 290 thousand tonnes, and that of "Isabella" grapes will reach about 40 thousand tonnes. About 315 thousand tonnes of grapes will be shipped for processing.
