From July to October, plums are harvested at all local growing areas, arriving fresh in the German supermarkets. And this, to the delight of the consumers. Because 41 percent of Germans consider the plum to be their favourite fruit. Accordingly, more than 500 grams of plums and plums per capita are consumed in the average private household.
