Senior Executive Vice President of the PTT Oil Business Unit, Jiraphon Kawswat, revealed that, since June 23rd, the oil and gas firm has worked with the Ministry of Commerce to purchase an additional 300 tons of pineapples from farmers to sell at PTT gas stations in the provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The oil company has so far purchased 600 tons of pineapples. The company extended its gratitude to all customers who purchased the pineapples, as well as PTT stations across the country for providing vendor space.
PTT will continue to provide vendor space at gas stations across the country until June 30th and will continue to support farmers who have suffered from the continuing decline in prices. Another campaign has been launched for farmers to sell garlic at six PTT gas stations in Bangkok until July 18th.
