Ayesha Curry joins National Mango Board to showcase mango recipes

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Ayesha Curry, food personality, restaurateur, author of The New York Times bestselling cookbook “The Seasoned Life,” and overall "foodpreneur,” joins the National Mango Board (NMB) for the second consecutive year to showcase delicious recipes featuring the fruit. The proud mom of two, with a third little one on the way, shares one of her favorite ways to celebrate Mother’s Day: food and cooking. She invites consumers to treat moms on this very special day with the mouthwatering taste of mangos. 
 
Ayesha grew up eating mangos given her Jamaican grandmother had mango trees in the back yard – making mangos extra special for her. For Mother’s Day, Ayesha prepares a light, refreshing and flavorful Spiced Salmon with Mango Avocado Salad recipe. This recipe features the delicious and creamy honey mangos with a tangy vinaigrette, and a sweet and spicy dry rub – sure to bring mom a smile. Ayesha also educates viewers on mango nutrition, selection and varieties, while demonstrating easy steps on how to cut a mango.
