Since 2011, Walter Pott GmbH has been a subsidiary of the Landgard producer cooperative and therefore was one of the key players in the sustainable marketing of fruit and vegetables. "We cover all areas from first-hand procurement - that is, we market the goods of our member companies - from packaging, to transport," says CEO Stefan Heine in an interview with regional newspaper RP Online.

For example, sustainability and especially packaging materials are a sensitive topic in today's fruit world. "Our focus is on all environmental and sustainability aspects," says Managing Director Heine. “A minimum or no packaging, or recyclable packaging, is a big issue."
