Increasing presence of Moldovan fruit and veg producers in Romanian market
The event hosted 172 participants, including suppliers, farmers, cooperatives, retailers and wholesalers. Moldovan companies presented fresh apples, plums and table grapes at a stand. According to the participants, the marketing opportunities for Moldovan fruit marketers improve if partnerships are signed in order to guarantee the delivery of the right volumes of the products requested.
During the event, Moldovan producers met with representatives of Romanian retail chains, such as Auchan Romania, Lidl, Kaufland, etc., with whom they discussed various aspects of cooperation, supply volumes, packaging standards, etc. Also, Romanian retailers were invited to the business events in Moldova to meet their local fruit and vegetable suppliers.
