Australian Citrus committee invites growers to attend Q-Fly management workshop

Citrus Australia’s regional advisory committee in the Murray Valley (MVRAC) invites growers to attend a Q-fly management workshop this afternoon.

The workshop will provide practical answers for citrus growers about how to control fruit fly on their orchard.

Attendees will hear from growers and specialists on best management practice, see demonstration of a fruit fly spray cart and learn fruit fly identification.

“Our committee is concerned that not enough is known by growers to effectively control fruit fly on farm,” MVRAC chair David Stevens said.
