Sorting and packing centre for Syrian citrus to be set up in Latakia

A Syrian centre for the handling, sorting and packing of Syrian citrus fruits will soon be established in the city of Latakia. This move follows an agreement reached by the Syrian and Russian sides recently, according to private sources, which have revealed this information to the portal "Hashtag Syria."

The sources added that the aim of this initiative is to guarantee adherence to the international export standards, which will allow Syrian producers to gain ground in the foreign markets.
