The Seville-based engineering company Envapack was present at the 3rd Berry Congress to showcase its special equipment for the packaging of blueberries. The managers of the company highlighted its "speed, precision and capacity to handle the product with care, with hardly any falls in the packaging process."
Envapack has designed and manufactured several models intended specifically for the packaging of blueberries, taking into account the needs of the different types of customers. Its blueberry packaging and weighing equipment has "first class components and its own electronics made specifically for this process," stressed the company officials.
Two of the company's most noteworthy products are its compact blueberry packaging machines for small and medium producers and its high production packaging lines for cooperatives and large producers.
The Envapack E-2000 blueberry packaging machine "is the perfect machine for small and medium blueberry producers, because it is designed and manufactured specifically to carry out the entire packaging process with a single machine."
It is a compact and ergonomic machine, which makes it very versatile, since its design allows the producer to use it in different ways and add add-ons as their production increases. Built in stainless steel in AISI-304 quality and with top quality components, it has very advanced electronics, specifically designed to guarantee precision in the weighing and reach a production of up to 225 kg per hour with two heads and 450 kg per hour with four heads.
Envapack is a company with young staff, experienced in the packaging sector. The average age of the staff does not exceed 28 years and they have engineers, electricians, programmers and workshop technicians who are responsible for designing and fully assembling the packaging machines in their facilities in Seville.
