Moldovan food products promoted in Belarus

22 Moldovan companies devoted to the marketing of wine, fruit and vegetables and other food products, are promoting their products at the BELAGRO International Specialized Exhibition in a country stand, funded by the Export and Investment Promotion Organization (MIEPO). The event is taking place from 6 to 10 June 2017 in Minsk, Belarus.

This year's edition of the exhibition will be attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Pavel Filip, who is making an official visit to the Republic of Belarus. In addition to the exhibition, the event will host a series of meetings with representatives of official delegations.

The event will be attended by growers and farmers, animal breeders, feed and fertilizer manufacturers, seed breeders, machinery companies, agricultural processors, packaging and refrigeration technology firms, etc. They will have the opportunity to promote their products, find partners, new markets or learn about the latest trends in their fields. Also, the program of the exhibition will include various product presentations, tastings, master classes, etc.

This year, the Belarusian side offered the Republic of Moldova 100 square metres of exhibition space free of charge, and MIEPO contributed with the funding of the country stand. In the 2016 edition, 535 companies from 23 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Italy, China, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Slovenia, etc.) participated in BELAGRO. The total area of ​​the exhibition is 33 thousand square metres.

It is worth noting that, during the year 2016, 350 Moldovan enterprises benefited from MIEPO support, participating in various international exhibitions and fairs and business missions. During these events, 1,300 business contacts were made, 91 of which resulted in the signing of export contracts.
