The Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has registered a new industrial park, "Zolotonosha", in the city of the same name in the Cherkasy region, as reported by the institution's website.
"The purpose of creating an industrial park is to ensure sustainable economic development in the city of Zolotonosha, with well-equipped infrastructure, good logistics and related services aimed at ensuring economic growth and creating favourable conditions to attract investment and improve the region's competitiveness," the report said.
The Ministry also noted that they are planning to organise the production of auto parts and components for agricultural machinery, the manufacture of electrical equipment, textile production and the complex processing and storage of fruits and vegetables in the park.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, there are currently 20 industrial parks registered in Ukraine.
