Aldi discounts carrots & parsnips by 50% for Easter

In order to capitalize on the Easter holiday in the UK, Aldi is reducing prices on Easter roast essentials to 19p a pack, including carrots, parsnips and leeks.

The bargain supermarket has chopped its prices in half, as it usually sells similar veggies for 42p a pack.

Other supermarkets have also slashed their prices – with Asda selling similar packs for 20p. Lidl is down to 29p, down from 39p and Sainsbury’s is down to 40p from 60p.

Aldi has also cut the price of broccoli to 29p and shoppers can pick up a 1kg of white potatoes for the same price.
