High demand for Vietnamese pomelos in China
The information was revealed yesterday afternoon by Mr. Dam Van Hung, owner of Huong Mien Tay fruit business establishment in Mo Cay Bac, Ben Tre.
According to Mr. Hung, green peel pomelo prices now swing around USD $2.42 a kilogram in the delta and the export price is higher than that.
His establishment has sold to the Chinese market 20-40 tons on average a day, totalling 1,000 tons since early this year.
