Prince de Bretagne expects 5,000 tons of leeks this season

From this week on, Price de Bretagne expects large volumes of their leeks to be available in France. The supply is supposed to be around 30 tons per day arriving. 5,000 tonnes are expected over the entire season, alongside 800 tonnes of organic leeks.

For the past two years, Prince de Bretagne’s producers have reinforced their specifications with the addition of a new category, A+, in an attempt to offer better quality leeks.

"All of Prince de Bretagne’s leeks are checked at one of two packing stations, one of which handles 90% of supplies. This guarantees great homogeneity in sizing and grading" the company claimed.
