Venezuela reinstates fruit & veg exports to Curacao

As we previously reported here, Venezuela has halted fruit and vegetable exports to Curaçao. The General Consulate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Curaçao has now announced to the general public, that, according to the recent conversations with representatives of the Falcon State in Venezuela, they were informed that the decree number 40.828 which was published on October 1, 2016, has now been eliminated. Meaning fruit and vegetable exports will soon be reinstated. This was ordered by the Governor of that state, Mrs. Stella Lugo.

This is a tradition that has existed for more than 100 years between the two countries as a commercial cooperation.
