China's Quality Inspection Main Bureau announced that fresh Chinese pears were registered on a 2016 Chilean list of registered orchards and packhouses. The orchards and packhouses of Sichuan's Mt. Daba Ecological Agriculture are on that list. This is the first fruit enterprise of Sichuan to be successfully registered on the list. It means that Sichuan's fruits are now allowed to be exported freely to the Chilean market.
The registration of orchards and packhouses for export functions as a permit to enter foreign markets. After meeting the requirements for registration, Sichuan's Bazhong gold pers can easily be exported to the Chilean market. The registration helps Sichuan's fruits forward towards becoming an international brand and setting foot in the international market.
