France: New organic herb range from Provence

There is a new organic range of typical aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean area. The herbs are grown near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. For Idyl, which has a department focussing on organic product, this growing area is also ideally located near the head office.

The fresh herbs are hand-picked to order just before loading, to maintain optimal freshness. "This quick reaction is essential to maintain impeccable quality and bring the Provençal scents to the fruit and vegetables shelves."

Idyl markets this new range under their own brand "Tribu Ecolo", dedicated to organic products. Thyme, Rosemary, and Laurel are individually packed along with "Bouquet Garni", in filmed punnets. The company has got chives, cilantro, parsley, mint and basil also in punnets. Basil is also available in a pot.

Established in Provence, Idyl selects and proposes a full range of organic fruit and vegetables, thanks to the knowledge and experience of its partners-producers, who are committed to sustainable agriculture.
