FOREN took advantage of the event’s magnitude to present the innovative foldable wooden crate FORENBOX and two new machines PW01 & FB01 for the production of this crate.
According to Myron Nouris, “FORENBOX has the following unique advantages: there are no glue or metallic stitches, succeeds excellent secure stacking, perfect conservation for soft fruits, 90% less space for warehouses and its available in very small dimensions such as 150x105mm."

Furthermore, the production of this crate is also innovative because the first machine (PW01) cuts the plywood at the place of the crate producer and the second (FB01), prepares the corner and assembles the crate inside the fruit packaging houses, reducing the transport cost of the material up to 90%.”
He explains that, in the market, you usually find the typical type of wooden crate that has metal parts, which sometimes damage the fruit; “Another problem is the use of carton, which absorbs humidity from fruits and then loses its resistance and the plastic crates that discredit the quality of the fruits. We tried to create something that combined quality and stability, but which could also be competitive with the price of other crates”.

"All of our products and machines are the result of the collective efforts of our company’s engineers to manage the production of approximately 3,000 crates per hour, and with the proper adjustments, they are able to produce boxes of all sizes, so you don’t need special molds for each type of crate,” says Myron.
By clicking on the following link (http://www.foren.gr/3dmodel.php) you can create a FORENBOX with the dimensions that best suit you by means of 3D modelling. “Our goal is for those manufacturing wooden and cardboard boxes to connect their productivity with the plastic market. Our philosophy is to move on to do better things and we believe this type of box, combining plastic with wooden and cardboard materials, is the future.”

FOREN has already received requests from various countries, mostly from Spain, but also France, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, South Africa, Canada, USA, Israel and India. “Our product is really new in the market and covered by patents and we’ll still strive to stand out by delivering the best quality final products, keeping a good communication with our clients and offering a great service,” states Myron. “Our biggest challenge, as a new company, will be to earn our reputation in the market.”
