PriceSmart reveals more on Colombia plans
Store will have differentiating features
The Bogotá store will be 11,667 sq m and will be located on the corner of Calle 25 and Avenida Boyacá. Potential members can already begin registering before the store opens in November. It will hold 2,500 national and international brands; the international brands will provide a key point of difference from other retailers in the Colombian capital. The store will also offer home delivery, an additional differentiating factor, via a partnership with logistics company Servientrega.
Further expansion due in Colombia in 2014
PriceSmart announced this store opening in February. It is also entering Medellín and Pereira before the end of this calendar year.
