Globus has the best fruit and vegetable department of all the German hyper markets, reports the German website dtoday.de. This was the opinion of 9,000 consumers in the annual questionnaire handed out by the 'Fruchthandel Magazin'. This means that the 'Retail Award' will go to Globus for the third time. In the questionnaire, which was conducted by market research institute 'Gfk Consumer Panels' and commissioned by Fruchthandel Magazin, consumers were asked about the entire concept of fruit and vegetable departments. Besides freshness, service and price-quality ratio, customers also rated the presentation of the fruit and vegetables as well as the overview, attractiveness and neatness of the department.
Globus came out on top in all categories and once again scored top marks in important categories like fair prices.
