Rat poison in Lidl sales areas

According to the TV-program 'Kontraste', employees of discount store (Lidl) recently mentioned some striking news. Lidl have, in sales areas of various branches in Bavaria, Berlin and Lower Saxony scattered rat poison without informing its clients.

Samples from a Lidl branch in Berlin have in the meantime been tested positive by an accredited testing laboratory for a 'significant toxic action'. Lidl has, after a request for information, declared that they are very serious about the indications and want to be critically involved with the 'relevant company processes in all areas'.

Kontraste refers to Lidl employees, who say they were ordered to work with gloves and under no circumstance to inhale the powder. Although Lidl should have reported the presence of the rats to the local health authority, no report was ever received.
