First Van Nature vine tomatoes

This winter season growers union Van Nature has vine tomatoes from their own growers for the first time. The first supply of vine tomatoes in the 2013 season arrived on Thursday the 3rd of January. The brothers Stefan and Jasper Oussoren supplied their first vine tomatoes from under lighting.

With this new step in their way of growing the brothers have qualitatively good vine tomatoes all year round, which have been grown in a sustainable manner and meet the strict quality and food safety requirements which are set by Van Nature and its buyers.

Van Nature had been looking for a winter production of tomatoes for a while, and thanks to the Oussoren brothers, among others, this need has been met. Besides Oussoren Jami VOF, Mies Brothers and Solyco will soon start harvesting vine and plum tomatoes.

The availability of qualitatively good tomatoes all year round is important for Van Nature to fill in their market focussed way of working in which the customers wishes in the area of food safety and quality are central.
