Permanent Uzbek pavilion opened at largest Russian wholesaler

A permanent "Uzbekistan" pavilion has opened in Russia's largest wholesale and retail food centre, the agrocluster "Food City".

The pavilion is intended to organise the centralised supply of fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, as well as products manufactured in Uzbekistan, to the Russian market, as well as their subsequent distribution. The country pavilion's operators are "Uzeksport" and "Uz-Global Trade".

Currently, the agrocluster "Food City" features 8 pavilions of foreign countries and 14 Russian regions. In the future, it is expected that these will open in all regions of Russia.

Those in charge of the Uzbek pavilion believe that the initiative will help fruits and vegetables from sunny Uzbekistan, as well as other high-quality Uzbek food products, to take their rightful place on the tables of Russians.
