Lidl trusts the Greek economy

Lidl wants to invest 130 million Euro in Greece this year. This was announced by Georg Kroell of Lidl Greece last Wednesday. The construction and making use of two warehouses, are Lidl's plans for 2014. The first logistics centre was initiated last Wednesday in the presence of the minister of Economic Development Kostis Chatzidakis. This logistics centre is in the region Kalyvia and has an area of 50,000 square metres. 60 shops in Attica and on the Aegean islands are foreseen of products from here. The second warehouse will soon be initiated at Thessaloniki. With an area of 200,000 square metres, this will be Lidl's largest logistics centre in Europe.
