On December 14, the president of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated a modern cold store "Somon Agro Sanoat" Limited Liability Company in the village of Fayzi Istiqlol. The cold store has the ability to store up to 2,000 tons of fruits and vegetables.
The area inside the cold store will be more than 2,000 m2, in two stages, and more than 4,500 tons of fruits and vegetables will be placed in it. The total area of the cold storage area is 5,200 square meters, and it is equipped with modern self-operated devices. Carrots, potatoes, apples, pomegranates, grapes, dates and other products are stored in the cold room.
Another advantage of the newly built cold storage facility is the contract for receiving and storing fresh fruits and vegetables for the population.
