Cambodian organic business groups dub cultivation and harvest successful

Cambodian business owners and provincial authorities have reported that the organic vegetable business has proven proved to be a productive venture, as cultivation and crop yields continue to increase.

Deputy Governor of Teuk Chhou District, in Kampot, Im Chansothon, said that growing vegetables in the area is dependent on the favorable weather and proper care. Organic business owners stated that the cultivation of the crops in Bos Trabek Village, Trapeang Pring Commune, Teuk Chhou District, Kampot is a going well due to the work of farmers in area.

The Deputy District Governor also confirmed that the vegetable growing in this area is supported through the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The project was implemented to enable people to grow vegetables safely.
