Jordan resumes exports of vegetables to Israel

Jordan has resumed vegetable exports to Israel after a five-month hiatus. In a statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture said that the nation's agricultural exports to Israel amounted to 37 tons of cucumbers and peppers in August. "Our agreement will raise Jordanian exports to Israel to more than 50,000 tons of vegetables and fruits," the Ministry added.

According to middleeastmonitor.com, Amman and Jerusalem have signed an agreement to increase agricultural imports from Jordan during the current year.
