The avocado supply to the EU in week 27 was still dominated by shipments from Peru. That week's avocado shipments from Peru to Europe were: 53,000 cartons of Greenskin avocados, 1,502,000 units of Hass avocados, totalling 1,555,000 units.
The estimates for South Africa are as follows: Greenskin shipments stood at 160,000 units and Hass shipments at 451.000, for a total of 611,000 4-kg cartons.
