N&K (part of the KINOBÉ Groupe in France) and Joko Impex (the largest coconut importer in the Netherlands) have jointly launched a new coconut brand. The new brand has a striking design and the name Tic-Toc-Coco.
With this new brand, N&K and Joko want to convince consumers that the coconut is tasty and healthy. At a time when consumers are looking for special products with positive nutritional aspects, the coconut is still somewhat lagging behind in sales growth. This is, of course, mainly due to the fact that consumers do not know how to open the coconut.
However, experience shows that once they know how to open this product, they more often go to the shop for a fresh coconut. This is one of the reasons why they chose the name Tic-Toc-Coco because it emphasises the fact that a coconut is actually easily opened. To help the consumer they also have opening instructions on the coconut box and website (www.tic-toc-coco.com).
In the coming period the brand will be further rolled out with various online activities and store promotions. The Tic-Toc-Coco activities between N&K bv and Joko Impex bv are a further extension of the existing cooperation between the two companies. With the future in mind Joko Impex moved to the N&K office in Ridderkerk in March 2019.
