The fruits are chosen based on data available from USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service and fruit covered in the USDA, Economic Research Service, Fruit and Tree Nuts Outlook.
Advertised retail prices for mangoes, grapes and limes in the same period stood at $2.00, $0.82 and $0.36 respectively.
Average selected fruit shipping prices are weighted by domestic shipments. Average retail prices are weighted by total shipments.
