South Africa: Fruit & veg seller nabbed for drug dealing

This Monday, a fruit and vegetable seller in Belgravia was arrested for alleged drug dealing. Metro police officers on patrol in Belgravia stopped at his fruit and vegetable stand when they noticed that the suspect seemed nervous, City of Cape Town officials said. The officers searched him as well as the stand.

According to iol.co.za, the search revealed 38 small bags of weed, half a bag and a full bag of compressed marijuana, after which the suspect admitted he was selling the drugs. He was detained for further investigation.
