Emerson launches new brand and shipment tracking app

Emerson announced today, at the annual Produce Marketing Association convention, a new consolidated brand for its widely-used temperature tracker and logger product lines.

GO Real-Time Trackers, formerly marketed by Locus Traxx, and GO Loggers, formerly marketed by PakSense, are now included in a full Emerson-branded suite of solutions that monitor and protect perishable goods in the supply chain.

Emerson announced its extension and leadership in cold chain management with the acquisitions of PakSense and Locus Traxx in August, 2016 to form the new Cargo Solutions business unit. The newly branded Emerson Cargo product line will be unveiled in booth 4255 at the PMA Fresh Summit October 20-21 in New Orleans.

Emerson Cargo will also release the Oversight Mobile app for GO Real-Time Trackers at the convention. Oversight Mobile enables users to manage shipments from start to finish and view data directly from their smartphone in real-time rather than logging into a computer. The app is Android and iOS compatible and available in several languages.

“Users of the GO Real-Time products are on the go as much as their cargo. Oversight Mobile gives our customers the freedom to be anywhere and still maintain complete control over their shipments,” said Frank Landwehr, vice president and general manager, Cargo Solutions for Emerson’s Commercial and Residential Solutions platform.
