This means the agro-industrial exhibition, consisting of agricultural -equipment, -machinery, -supplies, and -installations and more. Besides this, part of the exhibition is livestock and everything related to this sector. Alternative sectors are also given an opportunity, such as transport services, technology research and development, education and training, During these 11 days, over 570 exhibitors are expected. The European Union will join for the first time, with 21 projects that they have implemented for the country's development. Also, they expect delegations from Brazil, France, China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Cuba, Poland, Mexico and the Czech Republic.

Visitors are expected to include producers, breeders, members of the general public and any who are involved in the decision-making process of international or national companies. For example, farm workers, veterinarians, animal scientists, agronomists, agricultural managers and agricultural engineers, but also business managers of companies involved in the agricultural and livestock sector, owners and/or managers of farms and estates, producers and breeders. In total about 200.000 visitors are expected.

This 21st edition is the largest edition so far, said Andrés López Valderrama, executive president of Corferias. He explains that this event takes place right when the agricultural sector is growing. In the first quarter of 2017 it has experienced a growth of 7.7%. He adds that everything seems to indicate that this positive behavior will be accentuated by the materialization of the peace agreement and the continuous revaluation of the dollar, the effect of which has already been noticed in the increase of exports.
