Pakistan minister urges growers to add value to mango crops

Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research in Pakistan, Sikandar Hayat Bosan, has urged orchard owners and others to prepare more value added items to earn maximum income.

He also discussed the role of the incumbent government's effect on agriculture. He stated that the government reduced prices of agricultural inputs in order to help farmers.

While visiting the Mango Festival on Monday he said that the government was also making all possible efforts to improve the export of mangoes. He stated that all the obstacles in way of mango exports would be removed.

Vice Chancellor Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture Dr. Asif informed that they had tried their best to introduce the tasty fruit to ambassadors of different countries, exporters and other stakeholders.
