Thailand Ministry launches online fruit shop

The Ministry of Commerce is ready to start using e-commerce as a direct medium for fruit sales, reported the National News Bureau of Thailand.

According to Deputy Commerce Minister Sonthirat Sonthikirawong, the “Offline 2 Online Chanthaburi” project should increase product distribution, and make the buying and selling of fruits even more convenient.

Their website provides information on the types of fruits available, as well as pricing. Renowned as one of Thailand’s main fruit growing areas, Chanthaburi has been chosen as a base location for the project. The province is adjacent to Cambodia and also attracts many foreigners.
