This morning, the Shanghai branch of Qingdao Guguo Enterprise and Cyprofresh Citrus Sedigep (PO) Ltd. from Cyprus hosted an event at the Huizhan import wholesale market to promote imported citrus from Cyprus. The Ortanique orange (a citrus hybrid) is a special variety - a hybrid of mandarin and orange, and thus it has the good qualities of both species. The skin is bright orange in color and its flesh is very tender and extremely juicy. Normally the juice of a fruit accounts for over 60% of the total weight.

Another variety promoted at the event was the Cyprus grapefruit, also with a high percentage of juice. This variety is also rich in sugar and can be stored for a long time. Such grapefruits can well meet the needs of Chinese consumers to make fresh juice."
