Xuchang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau help double mushroom export

Back in 2016, a lot of foreign export companies faced sales pressures. To help relieve this situation, the Xuchang City Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in Henan province, took initiatives to organize assistance teams. They kept in close contact with these companies and managed to figure out problems and obstacles that Xuchang city faced. Afterwards, multiple targeted services were launched and the overall export situation was significantly improved.

The Henan Shijixiang Edible Mushroom Co Ltd has developed three new mushroom varieties to be exported to the US, South Korea and the UAE. These mushrooms are valued at 55 million Yuan, an increase of 116% compared with the year before. All this has been achieved due to the assistance of the Xuchang City Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
