France: SNIFL becomes a member of Interfel

The National Union of Importers / Exporters of Fruit and Vegetables (SNIFL) of Saint Charles International has joined Interfel, the Interbranch organisation of fresh Fruit and Vegetables, from 1st January 2017, within the framework of the 2017-2019 interprofessional agreement.

The Importer's family will now be represented within this organization thanks to the presence of the SNIFL and the CSIF (Syndicate Chamber of French Importers) in the college "Aval" (downstream).

This college already brings together the following organizations:

- ANEEFEL : The National Association of Fruit and Vegetables Shippers and Exporters

- UNCGFL : The National Union of Wholesale Trade in Fruit and Vegetables

- UNFD : The National Organization of Retailers Unions in Fruit and Vegetables

- FCD : The Trade and Distribution Federation

- RESTAU'CO : The Network that animates the catering sector, values its businesses and is committed to best practices

This will enable importers/exporters of the Perpignan platform to participate actively in the work of Interfel, whose mission is to create communication plans relating to the sector, and to promote inter-professional dialogue, particularly between upstream and downstream operators of the supply chain.

The SNIFL has elected as delegates for the Conference of National Professional Organizations and the Interfel Board of Directors, Mr. Denis Ginard, President of SNIFL, and Mr. Philippe Arroyo, 1st Vice-President.
