Luscious Fresh launches Autumn sugar snap, snow pea exports

“Earlier this year we concluded a successful Spring export programme which lasted from the end April until June. To meet demand, we are now working on an Autumn supply programme. This will officially be the first year that we export to Europe in Autumn. Shipments will start in October and will be done by both sea and air freight. It takes around 23 to 25 days to arrive at Europe’s main ports by sea,” explains David Yang of Luscious Fresh.

“We have over 20 years of experience growing fresh snow peas and sugar snaps. Back in 2001, we launched our company. Now we are one of China’s largest fresh sugar snap and snow pea exporters. We have a year-round supply to the Canadian and Australian market. In 2012 we received Global GAP and ETI certification and we started our export programme to Europe. All our sugar snaps and snow peas are harvested by hand, after strictly monitoring weather conditions. For example, it started to rain a couple of days ago, and we are carefully deciding when to start to harvest. We look forward with confidence to the new season and hope to increase our market in Europe.”
