Online fruit and vegetables delivered within 72 hours

In the centre of Kunming city, Yuanmo fruit and vegetable O2O (online to offline) flagship store was launched on the 25th August. This means that the O2O e-commerce demonstration zone for Yuanmou county has been officially initiated. From now on, fresh agricultural products can be delivered within 72 hours to all the cities in China.

Yuanmou county is known as the natural greenhouse of China, as its annual average temperature is around 21.4 degree. Thanks to its benevolent climate, it is now the largest winter vegetable cultivation region in Yunnan province, and its agricultural products are sold to 157 cities within China. Moreover, over 30,000 tons of onions, tomatoes, beans and spring onions are exported to countries and regions such as Korea, Japan, Russia, the US, EU, and South East Asian countries. In general, around 25% of its winter vegetables are exported to outside the county.

From the winter of 2015 to the spring in 2016, Yuanmou county cultivated around 13,333 hectares, and over 430,000 tons of vegetables are sold outside of Yuanmou county, and the total vegetable sales revenue reached 1.3 billion Yuan. Meanwhile, around 6,667 hectares of grapes and jujubes are planted here, with over 150,000 tons of output, or a turnover of over one billion Yuan.
