McDonald’s salads : Made in Normandy

Florette Food Service, Mc Donald’s long-standing salad, fruit and vegetable supplier (subsidiary of the agri-food cooperative Agrial), have signed a contract to supply salad for Mc Donald’s France. Florette Food Service is based in Normandy (their headquarters are in Caen).

The contract agrees upon 300 tons of Batavia to be bought per year over the next 3 years. Florette Food Service estimates that this quantity will supply Batavia for 50% of Mc Donald’s permanent sandwich range. For Iceberg salad, a multi-annual contract will be established as of 2017 whereby 500 tons of Iceberg per year will be bought from the Agrial producer’s organisation.
