Last week Bettaveg Manchester had beautiful heritage carrots on offer, these are grown in the UK and will only be available for a month, although they also do a range of baby rainbow carrots which are available year round.
The main buyers of these carrots are high end restaurants and it is expected these will remain a small niche product.
