Bailey Farms Inc. celebrates 25th anniversary

Bailey Farms Inc., the leading family-run U.S. grower- shipper of specialty peppers, is pleased to announce its first quarter century in business. The company has been operating since 1990.

President and owner, Randy Bailey, first began farming along with his father, the late Thomas L. Bailey III, after the original farming operation closed down due to bankruptcy. After obtaining financing from a friend, a new Bailey Farms venture was formed and the father and son duo began growing primarily chili peppers on just a few acres of land, delivering product from a small pick-up truck.

Despite the farm’s humble beginnings, Randy and his wife, Debbie Bailey, have continued to grow the business and have expanded to grow, pack, and ship product. Today, the farm has over 1,000 acres and focuses on producing a wide variety of specialty peppers from two farming operations – a year-round packing house at their headquarters in North Carolina and the other in Bonita Springs, Florida.

"We are very proud of our company's history and strive to be the very best specialty pepper supplier," said Randy Bailey, President and owner of Bailey Farms. “Debbie and I would like to thank all of our dedicated employees and our customers for the past 25 years. We look forward to growing together over the next 25 and beyond.”

The family-owned farm now produces over 15 different varieties of fresh and dry hot peppers including Poblano, Jalapeño and Anaheim. It has also expanded its offering to include gourmet hot sauces, mini-sweet peppers and is the exclusive East Coast supplier for Bellafina™ sweet baby bell peppers.
