According to The Economist

Top economies in 2050

According to its recent report "Long-term macroeconomic forecasts. Key trends up to 2050", China would displace the U.S. as the world's largest economy, achieving the highest nominal gross domestic product (GDP), going from 10,335 billion dollars (reported in 2014) to 105,916 billion in 35 years.

While the United States ranks second in the top ten of the world's largest economies by 2050, with 70.913 billion dollars, and India appears in third place with 63.842 billion dollars, it is worth noting the case of Indonesia and Mexico, which are not even part of the current list.

"Indonesia and Mexico are expected to jump to the top 10 of the world's largest economies from the sixteenth and fifteenth positions they held in 2014, reaching the fourth and ninth place, respectively," says the report.
