Germany: demand for top quality tomatoes

On German wholesale markets in week 10, mainly Spanish tomatoes were present. Italy and Morocco had also sent some volumes, and supply from Egypt was marginal. Shipments from the Netherlands and Belgium partially got started. The volumes from France were also small. Prices were stable, but not very good. At times there were unusually high prices for certain varieties, but not for very long. There was a lot of demand for top products. Remarkably, the Belgian beef tomatoes were in a downward trend.
