Tomato export from Spain decreases

Spain exported 72,000 tonnes of tomatoes less than in 2013. In 2013 the export was still at 955,000 tonnes, statistics by Estacom show. The tomatoes also lost 5 percent value.

Germany remains the main buyer of Spanish tomatoes with 218,000 tonnes. France is second with 141,000 tonnes, followed by Great Britain with 135,500 tonnes and the Netherlands with 106,000 tonnes.
