Over 415,000 visitors at 'Grüne Woche' (Green Week)

This year the GrĂ¼ne Woche (Green Week) has attracted, yet again, even more visitors. More than 415,000 visitors attended the world's largest agricultural fair, said spokesman Wolfgang Rogall last Sunday in Berlin.

Visitors also bought and ordered slightly more than last year, and spent, on average, 117 Euro per person. Turnover for the exhibitors yielded, in total, 48 million Euro. Last year the fair had 410,000 visitors, and they spent, on average, 114 Euro per person. This year - which marked the 80 year anniversary - 1,658 exhibitors from 68 countries were represented at the fair. This was the largest number of exhibitors in 44 years.
