The 3rd International Seedless Table Grape Congress, GRAPE ATTRACTION, will be held on Thursday, 16 October, as part of the sixth edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, with the aim of responding to the growing interest in both the production and distribution of seedless grapes.
The congress, which is biennial and is held since 2010, will attract a broad range of seedless grape producers and marketers from different countries, such as Chile.
Spain's seedless table grape production reaches 120,000 tonnes; about 90% of this is grown in the Region of Murcia, whose exports focus mainly on EU destinations.
GRAPE ATTRACTION is being organised by IFEMA and FEPEX, as well as APOEXPA, the Association of Producers-Exporters of Fruits, Table Grapes and Other Agricultural Products of Murcia; member of FEPEX, which represents most of the producers and marketers of seedless table grapes in Spain.
The event will take place on Thursday 16 October from 10:00 to 14:00 at the FRUIT FORUM, located between Halls 1 and 3. The sixth edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, organised by IFEMA and FEPEX, will be held from 15 to 17 October in Halls 3, 5, 7 and 9 at Feria de Madrid.
